Jennifer Brackett Le Roy is a formally trained artist that is constantly pushing the boundaries of her training and talent. She graduated from the prestigious School of the Art Institute of Chicago and had a residency at The Slade School of Fine Art in London. Since then she has exhibited and sold her art at several shows in cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, London and Austin. She is well versed in many mediums and particularly utilizes ink, gouache, acrylic, printmaking, and spraypaint to express her artistic visions. In addition to being an artist, Jennifer is also a professional pinup with a somewhat tragic but uplifting story. After graduating from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Jennifer added Spraypaint to her arsenal of artistic tools and her large scale work on concrete and wood canvases have been attracting a lot of attention. Her main focus is the human face, producing zombie-like creatures that express a multitude of emotions, from dead pompadoured greasers brandishing punk rock sneers, to hot rockabilly girls expressing despair and longing. What comes across in her art are original interpretations of her many eclectic influences, giving a new visual representation to such things as rockabilly and gory horror movies. In 2012, Jennifer began her journey as a pinup and practiced both her art and modeling successfully for many years in Austin Texas. It is when Jennifer moved to Florida for family reasons thather health took a turn for the worst. She was an artist and a pinup on her way to greatness when she woke up from her first seizure in the hospital with a broken back and a broken dream. Despite Jennifer’s many accomplishments she found herself unable to create due to illness and injury that started in 2016 and still resonates to this day. Although she had to get off the runway, it gave her time to get back to the canvas and soley focus on her future and her art. Despite being ill, she pushes on starting her own company called Kreatures and Kreeps in 2020 where she began to experiment with digital art and work regularly on commission. She is fortunate to have the freedom to create whatever her inspiration dictates, but she has also had many successful collaborations with clients who have requested specific works from her. Jennifer is always interested in new challenges and demanding projects where her talents can shine. You can contact her at: [email protected], she is currently considering/accepting both Fine Art, Digital and Graphic Design opportunities. Thank you.
